Marina Bay Sands, the most expensive hotel in the world

Absolutely spectacular Marina Bay Sands hotel becomes today (June 2010) in the world's most expensive hotel. Until his last opening the world's most expensive hotel was another no less spectacular, the Emirates Palace Hotel located in Abu Dhabi. The cost of building the Emirates Palace (opened in 2004) was about 2,400 million euros, while the Marina Bay Sands has cost a whopping amount of about 5,000 million euros.

Nothing view the silhouette of hotel very striking its most original form. If you look carefully from different perspectives we see that the architectural firm of Moshe Safdie was inspired by a deck of cards for your design. Spectacular front view from the bay at night or an aerial view of the entire complex. A few moments contemplating photographs of her outside (or the first image that appears when you go into your web) and tell us we are clearly dealing with something that is not seen or is built every day.

Perhaps what we call the attention of its unique silhouette is the area which is located on the three towers and reminiscent of a boat. The area is located approximately 200 meters high, on the top floor, 55, it is lllama Skypark Arenas and has a length of 340 meters. This area is what is perhaps the most spectacular point of the entire Marina Bay Sands hotel. It is spectacular pool infiniti pool (infinity). A pool that has a length of 150 meters (three times an Olympic pool). There are images in which the views you have while enjoying a swim and again and at risk of being repetitive, it is somewhat surprising and are difficult to forget. See the edge of this pool the Singapore skyline and the bay can be something really amazing.

If the outside of the Marina Bay Sands amazes and leaves no one indifferent, the interior is perhaps even more spectacular. Inside, and perhaps most striking about the hotel, we can see the canal. By whose channel can be seen passing boats Sampan made in the style of traditional Chinese ships of the seventeenth century. We were also surprised its casino, outdoor plaza, its huge theater or museum glass pavilion in the form of a lotus flower. All it wrapped and surrounded by opulence few times seen in a hotel.

The hotel owners commissioned five renowned artists to create a series of artworks to integrate in buildings. Among them is the surprising sculpture 40 meters long made of 16,000 steel bars by Antony Gormley, all of this work weighs nearly 15 tons and took 60 people durantes days for final assembly. Another artist, Chongbin Zheng, has created a work that rises to 83 meters high, it can be seen inside 3 colossal pots (or pots) several trees inside. Again we are returning to stay with his mouth open with his contemplation.

As for its restoration comment that has recently been made public that our great chef Santi Santamaria has opened a restaurant inside the hotel that bears his own name: Santi. The quality of the restoration of this complex only with the contribution of Santamaria is beyond question, well deserves a visit to the resort just to sample some of the dishes from our chef in Asian lands.

The complex will direct emplo 10,000 people and is expected to generate more than 60 million euros a year. The entrance to the casino costs 60 euros per day. Thomas Arasi, president of resort estimated that hope to attract an average of 70,000 visitors daily once the complex is fully functional.

Marina Bay Sands would be initially opened in 2009, but suffered several delays due to material shortages and funding problems due to the global financial crisis. The inauguration, incidentally, was introduced by Bruce Willis himself, and was enlivened by artists like Diana Ross. He did not miss the exotic note, of course, with the event invitation many Bollywood stars.

The most expensive hotel in the world is located in Singapore. It has 2560 rooms and suites with prices starting from 425 euros, but also depend on the season.
